Hardie of Larbert was established in 1958 by Alex Hardie in the existing premises in Main Street, Larbert. Alex and son Gordon, who runs the business today, approached Peugeot in 1984 just after the legendary 205 had been launched and were appointed franchise holders for the Falkirk area in July of that year. The brand was becoming ever more popular and the Stirling territory was added in 1988 at a site only a few hundred yards from our current location. The fabulous site we currently occupy was purchased in 1995 and recently upgraded to the latest Peugeot Corporate Identity.

The Hardie philosophy was always centred around providing great service and generating repeat business and it is very much our approach still today. The fabulous new products we offer now have brought many new customers to the brand in recent years. Our award winning 3008 won best Crossover in 2010 and our 5008 Best MPV. The RCZ, the flagship of our range, won Best Sports Coupe and we expect the new 208, launched in June 2012, to scoop many awards too.
